Each piece is made from a high iron stoneware and fired in a gas kiln to cone 10, a high-temperature process that produces strong, durable stoneware with rich, natural character.
 
The work is reduction fired, a traditional kiln atmosphere where oxygen is intentionally limited during firing. This causes the flames to draw oxygen from the clay and glazes themselves, creating unique, often unpredictable variations in colour, depth, and surface texture. The result is a distinctive finish that cannot be replicated in electric kilns, giving every piece its own individuality.
 
While all items are dishwasher safe, I recommend gentle hand washing. Microwave use is not recommended.
