After a 25-year career in the film industry as an animator, Steve transitioned to working full-time as a ceramicist in 2025, a path sparked by his passion for clay, which began back in 2019.

I work primarily with high-iron stoneware, which is reduction fires in a gas kiln, letting the atmosphere within the kiln play its part, Each firing produces unique tones and textures giving every pieces its own identity
